Jeanni Mennerick, 1999 graduate of St. Charles High School and a senior at Western Michigan University majoring in occupational therapy, spoke to the Child Development students in Colleen Fasbender's classes at St. Charles North High School. Mennerick focused her presentation on the work of an occupational therapist, the educational requirements and study skills needed for the field, similar careers and why the study of child development is beneficial for certain health related careers.
