George M. Winters Jr. of Gurnee Funeral services for George M. Winters Jr., 68, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 1217 North Ave., Waukegan, with the Rev. John Sardis officiating. Born Nov. 22, 1934, in Rockford, he passed away Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.

Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery following the services. Mr. Winters was a graduate of West High School in Rockford and attended Bradley University in Peoria. He began a 24-year career in banking in Rockford and Davenport, Iowa, and later accepted a position at Libertyville National Bank whence he retired.
