- Marisa Slad of Bloomingdale is a member of the University of Minnesota dance team, which won the College National Championship in Orlando, Fla. Slad is a graduate of Lake Park High School, where she was a member of the Dance Ensemble. She is a sophomore at the University of Minnesota and is the only member of the team from Illinois.

- Jean Nolan of The Nolan Agency has been elected president of the Lombard Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Nolan was installed at the annual Installation Dinner and Jubilee Celebration. She succeeded Stephen Flint of ARCON, who will now serve as past president. - Ryan Sass of Wheaton was inducted into the "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges."
