Byline: S. A. Mawhorr With terror alerts issued more frequently and the threat of war looming, security is on everyone's mind. Concerns about security are running high in the technology sector, as well. But information technology professionals may find it hard to find training in network security.
That's why DePaul University will offer a certificate program in network security this April. The 11-week course is designed for working professionals and covers topics such as maintaining secure networks and servers, firewalls, how to detect intrusions, developing security policies and security for wireless networks.
