Byline: James Fuller Daily Herald Staff Writer In his current job as an assistant professor at Loyola University, Dane A. Delli lectures teachers on how to become a school administrator. Now it's his turn to put what he teaches into action. Delli will become Aptakisic-Tripp Elementary District 102's new assistant superintendent for administrative services this July.
With a salary of $100,000, Delli's main job will be to recruit and retain teachers and other district employees. That's an easier task than in many school districts, according to the man Delli will replace. James Walker Jr. will retire at the end of his ninth year in the district. He's reached the maximum limit of his retirement benefits, and he believes it's time to go. Walker said...
