Byline: Bob Gosman Daily Herald Correspondent Fortunately for Harper College men's basketball coach John Bagley, athletics director Susan Overland does not hold a grudge. Overland, still wincing at the memory, vividly remembers how Bagley was less than kind to her alma mater in 1981. "I went to DePaul when he went to Boston College," she said.
"I was in the audience when he hit the shot that knocked us out of the NCAA Tournament." When Bagley, an 11-year NBA veteran, interviewed for the Harper job this summer, Overland quickly realized that it was better to be on Bagley's side than competing against him.
