Mary C. Highberg of Rolling Meadows Services for Mary C. Highberg (nee Carpenter), will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, at First United Methodist Church, 1903 E. Euclid Ave., Arlington Heights, where she will lie in state from 1 p.m. until the time of services. Born on April 11, in Athens, Ohio, she died Sunday, March 30, 2003, at her home.
Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mary graduated Suma Cum Laude from Ohio University in 1944, was a past president of the American Association of University Women and served on the board of elections. She was a member of Friends of Rolling Meadows Library and active at the First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Highberg was the beloved wife of 56 years of Carle W.
