Put loved ones first, not world events The most significant event of recent weeks had nothing to do with Norah Jones, the Wisconsin Badgers or the United Nations. The most important happening of late has nothing to do with Wall Street or a national health-care plan, but everything to do with a Chicago girl named Megan Lewis.

She Is not a Grammy winner, a sports star or a world leader. She Is an ordinary girl at DePaul University whom I have known for about nine years.
