Northrop receives 2nd Litening pact ROLLING MEADOWS - Northrop Grumman Corp. said its Defensive Systems division won a second contract for its Litening advanced targeting, or AT, systems for U.S. Marine Corps AV-8B Harriers. The $16.3 million deal includes 10 new Litening AT systems and the retrofit of 47 older Litening systems to AT status.

Litening AT is a multisensor laser target system. It's used by fighter-jet pilots to find and identify ground targets for conventional and precision- guided weapons.
