COD wins grant for girls tech camps.(Neighbor)

Byline: Nadia Malik Daily Herald Staff Writer The College of DuPage is among three area colleges to receive a total of $75,000 in grants for their Young Women in Technology camps. The other schools were Roosevelt University and Loyola University Chicago. Each school received $25,000 grants, sponsored by AT&T.
Loyola University has offered women in technology summer camps for two years, which will continue July 14 to 18 and Aug. 4 to 8. College of DuPage will hold its camps on four Saturdays this winter and then again next spring, according to Meryl Sussman, dean of business and technology. The COD camps will concentrate on girls in fourth through seventhe grades. "In the past we've run a women in technology camp for high school girls," Sussman said....
