Byline: Dave Boe Fifty never looked so good. This month commemorates the Chevrolet Corvette's 50th birthday. To mark this event, the largest gathering of vintage and new model Corvettes and their owners takes place Friday and Saturday, June 27 and 28 in Nashville, Tenn. More than 15,000 Corvette enthusiasts are expected.

The festivities take place at the Coliseum in Nashville, home of the NFL's Tennessee Titans. Thousands of sporty Corvettes and their owners have plans to gather in Bowling Green, Ky., earlier in the week. Bowling Green is where Corvette is assembled and home to the National Corvette Museum.
