William Ronald Bunge Memorial services for William Ronald Bunge, of Slidell, La., will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at North Riverside Community Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. James A. Shiflett officiating. William grew up in Downers Grove and graduated from Downers Grove High School in 1952.

He graduated from Lake Forest College in 1956 where he joined Kappa Sigma and also attended the University of Virginia, prior to serving in the Army. William fulfilled his military obligation from 1958 to 1959 as an Army musician, playing clarinet, glockenspiel and piano in Washington, D.C. for dignitaries. His career included the fields of education, music and politics. He taught history in Cook, DuPage and Will counties. William served 28 years of elective public...
