Charles Shepley, son of Susan Shepley, a customer service supervisor at The Chamberlain Group, Inc., won a one-year, $1,000 scholarship to attend Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, this fall. Shepley is a graduate of York High School in Elmhurst, where he was co-captain of the varsity hockey team and a member of the cross country and track teams.
He also participated in Relay For Life to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. Megan L. Debus, daughter of Kurt and Kathleen Debus of Itasca, recently was honored during the 2003 Honors Convocation at MacMurray College, Jacksonville, Ill. Debus received highest honors in general scholarship, with a GPA of 3.8 or higher. Debus, a freshman majoring in nursing, is a graduate of Lake Park High School. Jessica...
