Byline: Whitney Wyckoff Daily Herald Staff Writer Dave Morrison thought he was asking a simple question. "What's going on?" he asked his daughter Jennifer as his family ate dinner in their Arlington Heights home. "I got a ticket for L.A. on Sunday," replied Jennifer, who had recently graduated from Loyola University.
"How long are you staying?" Dave asked. "Oh, I'm moving there," she said, as calmly as if she were saying, "Please pass the salt." Morrison's bold move seems to have paid off: Her resume now includes several big Hollywood movies, including "Intersection" with Richard Gere and Sharon Stone, "Stir of Echoes" with Kevin Bacon, the lead role in "Urban Legends: Final Cut" and the new skateboarding film, "Grind," which opened last Friday....
