Northrop awarded $281 million pact ROLLING MEADOWS - Northrop Grumman Corp. said Monday that it won a $281 million, nine-year contract from the U.S. Navy to develop a fully integrated personnel and pay capability system for all military branches of the Department of Defense. The Defense Integrated Military Human Resource System will support about 3 million military personnel worldwide.

Northrop said the system will be the single authoritative source of personnel information on individuals and units across the Department of Defense, regardless of military service affiliation Northrop has Rolling Meadows operations.
