Howard T. Davis of Palatine A memorial service for Mr. Howard T. Davis, 79, will be held at a later date. Born Nov. 10, 1923, in Omaha, Neb., he died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, at the Northwest Community Healthcare Center, Arlington Heights. Interment will be private. Mr. Davis joined the Navy during World War II, and was sent to the University of Virginia and Annapolis to become an officer.

He worked at the Graybar Electric Company for 46 years, and was an active member of the Boy Scouts for 67 years, having become an Eagle Scout, a Life Scout, a troop leader and District Commissioner.
