Byline: Dave Boe Lexus, the luxury division of Toyota Motors, has several fresh nuances in store for the LS 430, the top-of-the-line sedan from a company where pampering of drivers and passengers takes top billing. The LS namesake (not to be confused with the Lincoln LS entry- luxury sedan from Ford Motor Company's luxury division) was the first product introduced from Lexus when the upstart division first began selling cars in the United States back in the fall 1989.

Durability, a comfortable interior environment and smooth, eerily quiet, potent powertrains all were hallmarks of the 1990-model year LS 400. In 2004 the mid-size LS 430 (the car was renamed LS 430 from LS 400 in 2001 due to the newly introduced, larger 4.3-liter, V-8 engine displacement)...
