Josephine A. Schneider of Palatine Funeral services for Josephine A. Schneider (nee Berkes), 92, formerly of Chicago, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at All Saints Lutheran Church, 630 S. Quentin Road, Palatine, where she will lie in state from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Pastor Leonard Peterson will officiate.

Born Sept. 25, 1911, in Chicago, the daughter of Joseph and Clara Berkes, she passed away Friday, Oct. 3, 2003, at the St. Alexius Medical Center, Hoffman Estates. Interment will be held privately. Mrs. Schneider was a current resident of Rosewood Care Center in Inverness. She is survived by her children, Aretta Schneider and Bob (Mary Anne) Schneider; and her grandchildren, Kristi and Jeffrey.
