Byline: Mary Ellen Johnson Each year, we are reminded of all the extraordinary young people who live in town during the Joe Draghi Mr. and Ms. Bloomingdale Scholarship competition. The annual contest happened last month, during Bloomingdale's Septemberfest. This year, seven young people earned a total of $10,500 in scholarships.
Logan Rogers was named Ms. Bloomingdale. The 19-year old Bradley University student is very involved in campus activities and serves as a resident assistant. Rogers also takes part in ministries through St. Isidore Catholic Church and volunteers regularly for several charitable agencies, including PADS and Hayward Memorial Hospital in Wisconsin.
