The Federal Aviation Administration officials will conduct a public meeting to hear what people think they ought to consider as far as environmental impacts when reviewing the proposal.

The FAA follows a general list of topics to study when considering airport projects like Peotone or the proposed expansion of O'Hare International Airport. Topics include noise, air and water quality, wetlands, floodplains, light, and hazardous waste. The agency also considers land use, ground transportation, and social and economic impacts.
