Baxter gets contract with VA hospitals DEERFIELD - Baxter Healthcare Corp. said Wednesday it has been awarded a "multiyear" contract by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Baxter will be the exclusive supplier of intravenous solutions and sets to the approximately 170 Veterans Affairs medical centers in the United States.

The deal is worth $80 million over its life span. The contract includes a large range of IV solutions and related products, Baxter said. CCH sells content to aid IRS research RIVERWOODS - CCH Inc. said it won a contract to provide electronic research tax materials to the Internal Revenue Service.
