David Charles Dykstra of Palatine Funeral services for Mr. David Charles Dykstra, 54, will be held at 10 a.m Saturday, at Village Church of Barrington, 1600 E. Main St. (Ela and Lake-Cook Roads), Barrington. Born Nov. 7, 1949, in Chicago Heights, he died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003, in Palatine.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington. David was a veteran of the Air Force (1970-1974), and served the community as a baseball and basketball coach from 1985 to 1997. He retired in 1999 from Ameritech after 30 years, and most recently worked for AT&T Local Services in Rolling Meadows.
