Byline: Pete Nenni When Andrew Osborne strolled around the Bonner Heritage Farm a few weeks ago, he was stopped by several motorists asking about the restoration project. Osborne said the attention signals how successful the site near Lindenhurst will be once the exhibits are open to the public this fall.

"There has been a lot of community interest," said Osborne, a spokesman for the Lake County Discovery Museum and member of the Bonner Farm advisory committee. "People are always driving by and wondering what's going on. The construction crews are frequently getting interrupted.
