Byline: Tom O'Konowitz & Kara Spak Let us tell you, Elgin is everywhere. We can't seem to escape it. Just the other night, half of Tales was watching our old pal Conan O'Brien on a repeat of his "Late Night" show on NBC. It was one of the ones where he did his show from Toronto. That Conan's pretty funny.

But what struck us was the special Canadian intro to "Late Night." It featured a bright sign with the words "Elgin and Winter Garden." As Elgin aficionados, we're always quick to spot the E-word almost anywhere. But what was this one all about? Hmm. We asked Tales' crack staff of researchers to do some investigating, and they uncovered intelligence indicating that our boy Coney had been doing his show from the Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre...
