That's my women's college basketball analogy for the day. While it's true that your Connecticuts and Tennessees are still the most elite of programs, they seem far less invincible than they did even two or three years ago.

Plenty of other programs are narrowing the gap, which is evident by the way this strange season has played out. We've had upsets, a constant reshuffling of teams at the top of the national polls, and no clear-cut favorite to win the NCAA Tournament since what seems like the preseason.
