Byline: Mike McGraw Daily Herald Sports Writer NEW ORLEANS - When the free-agent negotiating period begins, some NBA executives have been known to knock on a player's door at 12:01 a.m. to get a jump on recruiting. Marcus Fizer might reverse the process this year and spend July 1 waiting on a dock for Hornets coach Tim Floyd to finish fishing.
"July 1 is the day I'm shooting for," Fizer said before the Bulls played New Orleans on Wednesday. "I can't wait. That's like Christmas to me. "I'll probably be already down here. I don't think I'm getting in a boat, but I'll be somewhere in the general area. I won't be in Chicago, I know that." Fizer, along with everyone else in the basketball world, is convinced his Bulls career is over when the season ends....
