Charles E. Maha of West Dundee A memorial service for Charles E. Maha, 88, will be held at a later date. Born Sept. 9, 1915, in Algonquin, the son of Dr. Frank and Helen (nee Layer) Maha, he died Wednesday, March 10, 2004, at the Apostolic Christian Resthaven in Elgin. Burial will be private.
Mr. Maha was a graduate of Dundee Community High School and attended Michigan State University and the University of Illinois, where he majored in business administration. He was a compensation analyst and worked for several major and domestic companies as well as managing his own consulting company in the compensation field. Survivors include his wife, Ruth; stepdaughter, Julie (Ron) Theiss of Cypress, Texas; nieces, Betsy (Doug) Swiggett of Spring Grove and Mary (Duane)...
