- Erin Moffett, a 2000 LZHS graduate, was selected to Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities for the second year. Moffett is a student at DePaul University in Chicago. - Carrie Moffett, a 2003 graduate of LZHS, was named to the Dean's List for the first quarter of the 2003-04 academic year.

Moffett was recently nominated for the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. - Curtis Goodwin of Libertyville was recently honored with the most prestigious academic award at Huntington College in Huntington, Ind.
