Jack R. Gedney of Grayslake Services for Jack R. Gedney, 78, will be held at 11 a.m. today, at St. Gregory's Episcopal Church, Wilmot and Deerfield Roads, Deerfield. Born March 26, 1926, in Port Chester, N.Y., he passed away Saturday, April 24, 2004, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
Interment will follow the services in the churchyard of St. Gregory's. Jack was raised in the town of Mamaroneck, N.Y. He was a graduate of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa., and was an Army Air Corps veteran, having served during World War II. Jack was a Deerfield resident for many years and a member of St. Gregory's Episcopal Church. He and his wife retired to Saddlebrook Farm in Grayslake in 1997 and have been members of St. Lawrence Episcopal Church in Libertyville....
