Lisle planners look at future land uses tonight.(News)

Byline: Amy Boerema Daily Herald Staff Writer Commercial development along Ogden Avenue and the future of the Meijer site could be hot topics of discussion tonight in Lisle. A continued public hearing on Lisle's comprehensive land-use plan will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the village hall. The village is revising its land-use plan.
The plan acts as a guideline for future development. It last was updated in 1995. After gathering resident opinions, planners will recommend changes to the plan to the village board. The board could adopt the revisions this summer. The plan does not affect current zoning, but outlines the potential for future use, Mayor Joseph Broda said.
