Lambert "Bert" Bredehoft Lambert "Bert" Bredehoft, of Sun City Center, Fla., formerly of Arlington Heights and Plum Grove Estates, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2004. Mr. Bredehoft was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Northwestern University. As a Navy lieutenant during World War II, he was the communications officer aboard a seaplane tender and saw duty in Saipan, Iwo Jima, Okinawa and Tokyo Bay.
Bert retired in 1974, as vice president and international banking manager at Harris Bank in Chicago. He served as president of School District 25 at the time of the phenomenal growth in the area.
