Geoffrey Lyman Sorensen A memorial service for Mr. Geoffrey Lyman Sorensen, 63, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, in the chapel at Bethel Baptist Church, 200 N. Roselle Road, Schaumburg. Born Jan. 23, 1941, at Old St. Luke's Hospital in Chicago, he died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2004, at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates.
Internment will take place later in Marshfield, Wis. Geoffrey passed away after a long illness with Parkinson's Disease. As a bed patient, he spent his time at Alden Rehab and Health Center, where he was an uncomplaining and cheerful patient. He was a joy to be around and loved by many friends.
