Goss asks for probe of Japanese printer BOLINGBROOK - Goss International Corp. requested that the U.S. Department of Commerce take action in response to evidence Goss said exists against Tokyo Kikai Seisakusho, a Japanese producer of newspaper printing presses. Goss alleges that Tokyo Kikai used a fraudulent price increase, secret rebates and a cover-up to conceal the dumping of presses on the U.S.

market. Goss's request follows a U.S. District Court's decision to uphold a jury verdict against Tokyo Kikai for violations of the Antidumping Act of 1916. In the 1990s, the department investigated Tokyo Kikai's compliance with antidumping rules and found no violations.
