Arthur Edward Santow of Palatine Services for Arthur Edward Santow, 84, will be private. He passed away Sunday, July 11, 2004. Arthur was born in Michigan City, Ind., and attended school there. He attended Purdue University and after receiving a football scholarship to the University of Missouri, he was voted to the Associated Press All- American Team as a sophomore.
He later graduated with a B.A. degree in business. He was a commissioned officer in the Army during World War II and proudly served his country in Europe. He had a long and successful career with the 3M Company, where he soon became a member of the prestigious Cress Club and Century Club. He enjoyed playing Bridge, reading and was an avid golfer.
