Byline: Erin Holmes Those of you following John Hersey High football this year may have noticed the tributes to Tommy Vukadinovic, a Hersey player killed during the summer in a motorcycle accident. The team has been draping Vukadinovic's jersey over the bench at games, and players are wearing a sticker bearing his number - 42 - on the backs of their football helmets.
Now you can honor him, too. The school's booster club and post-prom committee are selling raffle tickets to benefit a scholarship fund established in Vukadinovic's name. Tickets are $25 each, or five for $100. A limit of 2,000 tickets will be sold, with a drawing for cash prizes set for the fall sports award program Nov. 15. The winners need not be there.
