Hewitt, Continental renew benefit pact LINCOLNSHIRE - Hewitt Associates Inc., a human resources firm, said it renewed its contract for undisclosed terms with Continental Airlines Inc. to provide comprehensive benefits outsourcing. More specifically, Hewitt will provide defined contribution/401(k), defined benefit (pension), and health and welfare services for the 41,000 employees and 12,000 retirees of Continental.

The pact extends the companies' 5-year relationship for another 5 years.
