How to meet Chicago artist: The public is invited to meet Chicago artist Michael Neamand from 5 to 7 tonight at the DePaul University Library, 2550 Golf Road in Rolling Meadows. Neamand's artwork will be on display at the library through February. The work features acrylic and oil paintings ranging from Chicago street scenes to European scenery.
At his first public art showing at Palatine's annual Street Fest this summer, Neamand was awarded best of show by the Palatine Inverness Arts Council. Neamand's showing at DePaul is a collaborative effort between the university and the Palatine Inverness Arts Council.
