Michael J. Winfield formerly of Mount Prospect A funeral Mass for Michael J. Winfield, 70, of Venice, Fla., will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today, at Epiphany Cathedral, Venice. Born July 20, 1934, in Chicago, he died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004. Michael moved to Venice seven years ago from Mount Prospect.
He worked for Bell and Howell in Lincolnwood for 30 years, before he retired as an executive in 1992. He attended the University of Illinois, was president of the Bell and Howell Employees Benevolent Association for more than 20 years, and was a member of the Catholic faith.
