Byline: Ames Boykin Prime Site Inc.' s role in the downtown Metropolitan Square project was first revealed in the city manager's report released in August. On the first page, city officials said they learned Prime Site was responsible for bringing Sam's Club on Oakton Street to the city.

Prime Site also had received a $200,000 commission from Rich Tucker, company president, for introducing Tucker Development Corp. to the city. "However, it appears to be a separate agreement with Prime Site not involving the city and paid for by Tucker," City Manager Dave Niemeyer wrote.
