William J. Bolton of Elgin for 50 years Funeral services for William J. Bolton, 83, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin, with the Rev. James Fandrey officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m.

today, at the funeral home. Born Sept. 17, 1921, in Walworth, Wis., he passed away Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, at his home. Mr. Bolton was the owner of Elgin Wiring and Fixture before retiring. He was a veteran, serving in the Air Force, and was a member of Local @#177 Electrical Workers Union.
