Point guard Lindsay Richards (Barrington) has decided she is not going to rush her return to the nationally ranked Iowa basketball team.
Although she has been cleared to practice after successful rehabilitation of a damaged ACL in the right knee, Richards, who was an all-stater and the Daily Herald All-Area captain in 2002, has decided to redshirt this season to fully recover from the injury.
