Byline: Mike Spellman Daily Herald Sports Writer The captain was saluted Wednesday night for scoring a landmark goal as a professional, but it was a guy who hadn't scored since before Thanksgiving who stole the show as the Hamilton Bulldogs rallied for a 6-3 victory over the Chicago Wolves on Wednesday night at the Allstate Arena.

Gavin Morgan, who last scored Nov. 13, recorded a hat trick to key the win, but even with that the night still belonged to Steve Maltais. The veteran scored the 600th goal of his professional career in the first period. "It's a lot," said Wolves coach John Anderson. "It's something to be proud of - not too many guys have done it.
