Byline: Rusty Silber Daily Herald Correspondent Steffen Vroom is on the move, and so is his future team. The Libertyville senior didn't have to travel far to find the right place for him to continue his soccer career and education. He recently signed a national letter of intent with DePaul University in Chicago.
The Blue Demons play at the Division I level in men's soccer. "I went there and something inside me told me that's where I want to go," Vroom said. "I was there in November and watched a game. It was everything I expected - good coaching and good play." The versatile Vroom was a three-year varsity starter on the soccer field for Libertyville.
