Byline: Dann Gire Daily Herald Film Critic Roger Ebert, the king of American film critics, will get his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The 62-year-old Ebert, host of the syndicated TV series "Ebert & Roeper" and writer for the Chicago Sun-Times, will be feted with his own star in front of the famous El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles June 23.

The accolades for the media pioneer don't stop there. On July 12, a plaque will be dedicated in his honor at the Chicago Theater on State Street. Mayor Richard M.
