Steve Rauschenberger's beard when the Republican stopped into Razor's Edge last year to have it cut off for his U.S. Senate campaign. For one thing, Rauschenberger's shave took more than an hour to complete.

But that was only because a camera crew filmed the entire process - take after take - for a 30-second campaign spot, Corn said.
