Byline: Dave Boe Former U.S. Secretary of State General Colin Powell will pilot a 2005 Chevrolet Corvette convertible pace car to lead the field to start the 89th running of the Indianapolis 500 later this month. For a record seventh time, Corvette will pace the Indy 500. The pace car features a 'victory red' paint treatment with a bright silver metallic stripe down the center.
