ABC took on "American Idol" Wednesday with a much-hyped expose, claiming judge Paula Abdul seduced a 22-year-old contestant, gave him unfair advantages in the competition and tried to convince him to hide their relationship.

Abdul, the former pop star, Laker Girl and all-around sweetheart, denies allegations of a tawdry affair, levied by Corey Clark on "Fallen Idol," a special edition of "Primetime Live."
