Alan F. Rychlik of Hawthorn Woods Prayers for Alan F. Rychlik, 58, will be said at 11:30 a.m. today, at the Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 415 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. Mass will follow at 12 p.m., at St. Francis de Sales Church, 11 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich. Interment will be private.

Visitation was from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Born Sept. 19, 1946, in Evanston, he died Wednesday, July 13, 2005, at Loyola University Medical Center. He was a Vietnam Army Captain from 1970 to 1972. He graduated from Loyola Academy in 1964 and the University of Notre Dame in 1968. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Parish and was a Eucharistic Minister. He was active in RCIA and a Scout Master for Troop 309. He was a member of G.A.S. (Giant Aircraft...
