Prisoner commits suicide: A 29-year-old male prisoner at the Lake County jail in Waukegan died by apparently hanging himself Sunday morning, Lake County Coroner Richard Keller said. The man was immediately transported to Victory Memorial Hospital in Waukegan after being found. The man was pronounced dead at 8:30 a.m.
Sunday. An autopsy determined the man's cause of death was asphyxiation, consistent with hanging, Keller said. The death is considered a suicide. Keller couldn't reveal the man's identity Sunday, and no further information about the incident was available from the Lake County's sheriff's office.
