Donald F. Dowling formerly of Addison for 35 years A funeral Mass for Donald F. Dowling, 79, of Geneva, will be held at 10 a.m Saturday, at St. Philip the Apostle Church. Burial will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, at Humes Funeral Home, 320 W. Lake St., Addison.

Born March 13, 1926, in Chicago, he died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2005, in Geneva. Mr. Dowling retired as senior vice president from Addison State/Oxford Bank in 1991. He was a graduate of Loyola. He was a founding member of the Addison Switchboard, a founding member of St. Philip Church, former auditor of the Village of Addison, and former member and treasurer of the Young Republicans.
